Small circle. Big boundaries. Louder goals.

It’s been a minute since I’ve shared here – life threw me a bit of a curveball with shoulder surgery and I’ve been slowly easing my way back into work (and two-handed typing again).
Recovery’s actually been going really well. I’ve got more movement than I expected at this stage and while there’s still a bit of a road ahead, I’m pretty grateful for how things are tracking.
One of the exercises I do every day is called the pendulum. You lean forward, let your arm hang and draw small circles in the air. That’s it.
Tiny, slow, kind-of-boring circles.
It looks like nothing’s happening – but those little movements are quietly breaking down scar tissue and helping rebuild strength.
It got me thinking about something I saw recently:
Small circle. Big boundaries. Louder goals.
And honestly… it hit home.
Because that’s exactly what this season’s been reminding me of.
My small circle has been the people who’ve checked in, cheered me on or just made me laugh when I couldn’t do much else.
Big boundaries have looked like protecting my time and energy so I can heal well and come back stronger.
And louder goals – well, they’re starting to take shape again. The ideas that have been simmering quietly in the background are beginning to find their voice.
It’s funny how a simple rehab exercise can turn into a pretty solid life (and business) lesson.
So if you’re in a season that feels slow or circular, maybe you’re not stuck.
Maybe you’re strengthening.
Moving with intention.
One small circle at a time 💛
